Dear Sylvia, Isabel, Helen and Andrew words cannot convey how much Daljit was loved and admired by all. I worked with Daljit for almost 25 years but he was not just a colleague but also a friend, the best friend someone could have as so loyal and generous and never asking anything in return. I shall so miss his banter, energy and enthusiasm for everything - he was always learning and adding to his knowledge and hardly paused for breath. I shall also miss his strong opinions - always leading to good discussion and debate, save for anything that might be French of course. Daljit certainly seized the day, and every day at that. I am privileged to have known him and his presence and impact will live on. He was too young to leave this planet that he loved. I am filled with such sadness. He so loved and was so proud of you all and our thoughts are with you all.
