Daljit was a friend of over 25 years, initially through work but over time much more than that. He was a brilliant lawyer, terrific fun to work with, always creative and always cared. Family was important to him and he talked about Sylvia, Isabel, Helen and Andrew and what was going on in family life whenever we met. He was never shy about giving me advice either (whether I asked for it or not!) but I knew he would always be there if I needed him. I'm generally anti social but Daljit was different, I enjoyed spending time with. He was smart, funny and entertaining. I'll miss him.
